You will be identifying and analyzing data quality issues, integrating data sources and improving processes. By taking full ownership of the work, you will become a subject matter expert and a key member of a high performing team.</span></div><h3>What You’ll Do</h3><ul><li>Identify and analyze data quality issues</li><li>Build quality checks, validation rules and other processes to ensure data quality</li><li>Develop and build ad hoc data transformations to clean data and fix quality issues</li><li>Analyze, clean and onboard new data sources</li><li>Work with product managers to understand data quality requirements, data sources and maintenance requirements</li><li>Coordinate with other Data Analysts on common processes, best practices, as well as peer reviews</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Excellent attention to detail, a meticulous approach, especially when working with data</li><li>3+ years of experience working as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.</li><li>Strong SQL skills including a good understanding of relational database schemas</li><li>Able to document work with precision and clarity</li><li>Good written and verbal communications skills in English</li></ul><h3>Nice to Have</h3><ul><li>Prior experience with customer reference data for the life sciences industry</li><li>Experience with relational database administration</li></ul><h3>Perks &amp; Benefits</h3><ul><li>Flexible “work from anywhere” policy</li></ul><div><span>#LI-Remote</span></div><div><br /></div><div>Veeva’s headquarters is located in the San Francisco Bay Area with offices in more than 15 countries around the world.</div><div><br /></div><div>Veeva is an equal opportunity employer.
