Veeam is seeking a highly motivated Sr. Specialist, SEO + Content Development to lead the creation, optimization, and continuous improvement of content that drives measurable growth in organic search traffic, visibility, and conversions. In this role, you’ll act as a hands-on content strategist and writer, working closely with the SEO team, product marketing, campaigns, and external agencies to create high-performing content that aligns with user needs, business priorities, and SEO best practices.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end content creation process—from keyword research and outlining to drafting, optimizing, and publishing content that ranks and converts.
- Own and execute SEO-driven content strategies to support key business goals, including organic visibility, brand authority, and lead generation.
- Write and optimize long-form blogs, landing pages, web copy, and other digital assets using SEO best practices while maintaining brand voice and clarity for technical audiences.
- Collaborate with product marketing, campaigns, and subject matter experts to develop content that aligns with campaign themes and business messaging.
- Regularly update and refresh existing content to improve keyword rankings, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Develop SEO content briefs and outlines for internal or external writers to ensure alignment with keyword strategy and intent.
- Use keyword research tools to identify opportunities, define content angles, and prioritize topics based on impact and search demand.
- Perform competitive content analysis to identify gaps and opportunities for differentiation.
- Track and report on content performance metrics (rankings, traffic, conversions), using data to make continuous improvements.
- Support the SEO team in maintaining scalable processes for publishing, linking, and reporting.
- Contribute to SEO content guidelines and ensure adherence to tone, structure, and optimization best practices.
- Stay current with SEO and content trends, incorporating new techniques to drive continuous improvement.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, working toward shared goals.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in SEO content development, content strategy, or editorial roles, ideally in B2B tech or cybersecurity.
- Proven ability to write and edit high-quality, keyword-optimized content for technical audiences.
- Strong understanding of on-page SEO elements (metadata, H1s/H2s, internal linking, keyword placement, etc.) and how they influence rankings.
- Experience taking content from strategy and outline through drafting and publishing, with attention to both user experience and search performance.
- Familiarity with tools like SEMrush, SEOClarity, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and GA4.
- Excellent editorial judgment, writing skills, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work with multiple stakeholders and translate complex topics into accessible content.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Experience using content management systems such as WordPress or Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Bonus: Experience with international SEO and content localization.
