We are expanding our Finance team in Saudi Arabia and are looking for a motivated General Ledger Accountant to join us. <hr /> <h3>Role Overview</h3> As a General Ledger Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate accounting records for Veeam across the EMEA region. This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to work independently. <hr /> <h3>Key Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li> Perform daily bank reconciliations across multiple accounts and manage online banking transactions. </li> <li> Handle fixed assets accounting, including allocation, depreciation, and disposals. </li> <li> Oversee monthly payroll reviews, payments, and reconciliations. </li> <li> Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes: <ul> <li> Bank reconciliations </li> <li> Accruals and prepayments </li> <li> VAT adjustments and revaluations </li> <li> Balance sheet reconciliations and financial analysis </li> </ul> </li> <li> Prepare reports reconciling US GAAP accounts with local statutory requirements. </li> <li> Lead year-end audits: coordinate with auditors, review financial statements, and ensure compliance with statutory deadlines. </li> <li> Manage intercompany reconciliations and revaluations. </li> <li> Oversee VAT and CIT processes, including preparation, posting, and reconciliations. </li> <li> Provide reports, analysis, and accounting data as required by management. </li> <li> Collaborate with internal teams (GL, AP, AR, Tax) and external providers to resolve accounting matters. </li> </ul> <hr /> <h3>Requirements</h3> Education &amp; Qualifications: <ul> <li> Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. </li> <li> Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CMA) are an advantage. </li> </ul> Experience: <ul> <li> Minimum 2 years of general ledger accounting experience in an international company. </li> <li> At least 4 years of accounting experience in Saudi Arabia. </li> <li> Additional AP/AR experience is a plus. </li> </ul> Skills &amp; Knowledge: <ul> <li> Strong understanding of KSA local accounting standards and international standards (GAAP/IFRS). </li> <li> Advanced English  (written and verbal). </li> <li> Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel. </li> <li> Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. </li> <li> Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. </li> </ul>  <div><div><hr /></div> <div>Veeam Software is an equal opportunity employer and does not tolerate discrimination in any form on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, citizenship, disability, veteran status or any other classification protected by federal, state or local law.
