THE ROLE: <ul><li>Own technical relationship and prospect success criteria plan for pre-sales customer evaluations, including but not limited to physical system installation, performance benchmarks (FIO, el bencho), system configurations(AD, LDAP), etc.</li><li>Work closely with VAST R&amp;D Engineering in helping to define product requirements and usability, including the creation of product specification documents</li><li>Participate in the creation of sales strategy and tactics and takes ownership of technical responsibilities within customer accounts</li><li>Manage customer relationships from first meeting through proof of concept as well as post sale to enable opportunities to expand the VAST Data footprint.</li><li>Develop and present proposals to customers with information that demonstrates the ability of the VAST solution to meet customers’ business objectives and justify the sale.</li><li>Demonstrate technical leadership and subject matter expertise on storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and competitive storage offerings in the DAS, NAS and SAN product spaces</li></ul> <ul><li>5+ years of experience supporting the sales of enterprise storage to large IT organizations </li><li>Positive energy, optimism and vision.</li><li>Ability to perform in an unstructured environment.</li><li>Understanding of classic unstructured data applications and next-generation analytics and AI frameworks.</li><li>Preparation and/or delivery of technical product and architecture presentations to customers and trainees.</li><li>Knowledge of virtualization, high-performance computing, networking and enterprise security.</li><li>Experience in the Automotive sector would be a plus </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li></ul>
