Reporting to the Senior Manager, HRIS, Global, this role serves as a key liaison between People &amp; Culture, IT, and business partners to ensure accurate data management, efficient workflows, and timely resolution of system issues. This role involves performing somewhat difficult work, frequently encountering challenging and complex problems. The HRIS Specialist also assists in reporting, testing system updates, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory data standards.Essential Job FunctionsHRIS Administration and Support:<ul><li>Serve as the first point of contact for HRIS related inquiries and support requests.</li><li>Support stakeholders by troubleshooting errors and escalating complex issues as needed.</li><li>Provide day-to-day technical support for system users as they process employee data changes, position updates, organizational structure adjustments, and other business processes in Workday.</li></ul>System Optimization<ul><li>Identify opportunities to streamline processes and workflows through system enhancements and automation.</li><li>Assist with the configuration, testing, and implementation of system updates, bi-annual releases, and enhancements.</li><li>Provide input and recommendations for system configuration tailored to meet business needs.</li></ul>User Support and Training:<ul><li>Create and maintain user guides, process documentation, and standard operating procedures for HRIS functions.</li><li>Provide end-user guidance and training, when necessary, on HRIS functionality.</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure efficient use of HR technology.</li></ul>Data Management and Reporting:<ul><li>Generate standard and ad-hoc reports to support P&amp;C, payroll, and other internal stakeholders.</li><li>Validate report accuracy and ensure compliance with user specific access controls.</li><li>Perform routine audits, updates, and corrections in the HRIS system to ensure data integrity, compliance with policies, and alignment with organizational goals.</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze data and generate insights that inform decision-making.</li></ul>Compliance and Data Security:<ul><li>Maintain confidentiality and security of employee data in accordance with company policies and regulations.</li><li>Support audits and compliance reporting as necessary.</li></ul>Project Support:<ul><li>Assist with HRIS-related projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and integrations with other business systems.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects, providing HRIS expertise and support as needed.</li><li>Support change management activities by helping to communicate system changes and updates to users.</li></ul>Additional Duties:<ul><li>Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.</li></ul>Job RequirementsEducation/Experience:<ul><li>Minimum of 2-4 years of experience working with Workday required.</li><li>Experience with Workday modules such as HCM, Recruiting, Absence, and Reporting.</li></ul>Skills:<ul><li>Understanding of HR processes.</li><li>Familiarity with data auditing, integrations, and support ticket management.</li><li>Strong ability to create advanced reporting in Workday.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.</li><li>Strong organizational and project management skills.</li><li>Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.</li><li>Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.</li><li>Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.</li></ul><ul><li>High level of integrity and professionalism.</li><li>Positive and initiative-taking attitude.</li><li>Customer-focused with a passion for enhancing employee experience.</li><li>Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.</li></ul><ul><li>Travel required is expected to be up to 5% but may increase over time as the business evolves.</li></ul>Physical Demands and Special RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
