Vanta has a kind and talented team, and while some have prior security experience, many have been successful at Vanta without it. As Vanta’s Director, US Government Affairs, you will drive the development and execution of Vanta’s Federal, State, and Local government relations agenda.In this role, you will engage with Vanta’s internal teams to develop and implement a government affairs strategy around Vanta’s commercial and public sector business, including direct lobbying efforts and strategic coalition building. You will communicate what Vanta is and does, Vanta’s key mission and policy priorities, and the value we bring to our commercial and public sector customers.This includes collaborating on strategic issues with think tanks and trade organizations to advance public discourse on key debates related to cybersecurity, AI and automation, compliance, and risk management. Internally, this person will know how to articulate and discuss the implications and impact of relevant legislative, regulatory, and political events to Vanta’s business.
