Be part of what truly makes us special and impactful.The OpportunityAs a dedicated Corporate Impact Director, you will be responsible for the coordination, analysis, development, and implementation of business-specific Belonging strategy to achieve strategic imperatives, aligned with Belonging-related employee and business groups across the enterprise.  Leverages data-driven insights to identify opportunities in the business and develop defensible solutions and plans of action to drive results that align and support both operational and strategic priorities of the enterprise through providing consultation to Executive Council and all levels of LoB leadership and LoB Belonging working groups, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), education and training programs, and participation with external sponsorships and conferences. Partners across various HR organizations leveraging Belonging data (reports and insights, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) data, Affirmative Action programs, training, and other fact-based information) to support focused activities that align with enterprise Belonging strategy. Focus areas will include  support for employee driven and employee focused activities to ensure a healthy culture across the enterprise.  Additionally, provides support for programs that engage USAA members (customers) in ways that reflect their unique needs; along with supporting activities and strategies that promote and advocate for  Belonging within communities.We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Chesapeake, VA or Tampa, FL. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.What youll do:<ul><li>Provides enterprise Belonging consultation, advice, and solutions and may serve as a liaison to Executive Council and all levels of LoB leadership and LoB Belonging working groups regarding Employee Resource Groups, community events and investments, policy developments, responses, and communications.</li><li>Owns and executes Belonging strategies to drive business value, nationally and in our regional office locations through the development of multiple highly complex and visible programs and strategies which includes initiatives involving third party alliances and key internal stakeholders.</li><li>Cultivates and manages relationships with key local, national community organizations to reinforce USAAs brand and proactively build reputation.</li><li>Develops measurement metrics and standards to evaluate impact and effectiveness of Belonging investments and operations.</li><li>Convenes with key stakeholders bi-annually to discuss critical needs, common KPIs, impact, and opportunities for collaboration.</li><li>Ensures routine and effective communication is maintained with key contacts to foster highly productive relationships.  In partnership with CI engagement lead, develops and/or coordinates enterprise-wide communications.  Leverages technology and social media as tools to strengthen CI Belonging engagement.</li><li>Works across enterprise to lead, establish, and revise CI Belonging policies.</li><li>Leads purposeful collaboration with enterprise partners and operates within defined CI governance process and protocol; navigates the organization with expertise and high degree of credibility with key stakeholders.</li><li>Contributes to a high-performance CI team and is accountable for achieving results related to departmental goals and objectives; expertly demonstrates how their decision making and execution is measured in CI performance dashboard and reporting.</li><li>Leads Disciplined Execution or process improvement initiatives with measurable improvements in efficiency and/or effectiveness.  Owns and proactively manages risk and compliance of assigned process.  Takes lead in AARs for key initiatives and applies learnings to ensure continuous improvement.</li><li>Contributes to external reporting by developing compelling content for Belonging strategy and contributes to alliance stories; provides content, serves as SME for internal/external communications, focusing on impact and storytelling for designated strategy area(s).</li><li>Coordinates Belonging-related surveys and serves as a liaison to supplier diversity to ensure alignment with enterprise strategies.</li><li>Serves as a team lead who applies expert knowledge of Belonging, the business, and strategic priorities and acts as a proxy for leadership when necessary.</li><li>Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.</li></ul>What you have:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.</li><li>8 years of belonging experience in one or more human resource disciplines or general business consulting/analysis experience.</li><li>4 years of experience leading cross-functional teams or projects requiring strong collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills.</li><li>Subject-matter-expert understanding of the belonging function/discipline.</li><li>Subject-matter-expert level of business acumen in the areas of the belonging business operations, industry practices, and emerging trends.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to assess and make decisions of a complex nature that aligns to Enterprise and/or business unit Belonging objectives.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels.</li><li>Subject-matter-expert knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools and Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.</li><li>Ability to recognize key market trends and mitigate potential risks through proactive recommendations and thought leadership.</li><li>Proven ability to work with highly confidential information.</li></ul>What sets you apart:<ul><li>Master’s degree or accredited professional certification in a relevant field.   </li><li>Experience working in a financial services line of business role at a large corporation.  (example: P&amp;C Insurance, Bank, Life Insurance)</li><li>High-Impact relationship builder with proven ability to both engage and influence senior leaders and engage/impact a large employee base. </li><li>Exceptional ability to collaborate effectively across various departments within a corporate ecosystem, understanding their impact on the work.</li><li>Ability to create strategy and drive successful execution through measurement of KPI’s. </li><li>Analytical mindset with ability to derive insights and translate them into practical action plans.</li><li>US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner</li></ul>Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $127,310 - $243,340.USAA does not provide visa sponsorship for this role. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position.
