A Brief Overview The Accounting Manager is responsible for the management of the overall accounting function and the accounting personnel in the assigned area. What you will do <ul><li>Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.</li><li>Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.</li><li>Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.</li><li>Report to management regarding the finances of establishment.</li><li>Establish tables of accounts, and assign entries to proper accounts.</li><li>Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.</li><li>Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel, and direct their work activities.</li><li>Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.</li><li>Advise management about issues such as resource utilization, tax strategies, and the assumptions underlying budget forecasts.</li><li>Appraise, evaluate, and inventory real property and equipment, recording information such as the propertys description, value, and location.</li><li>Comply with Company’s attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance.</li></ul> Required For All Jobs <ul><li> Perform other duties as assigned.</li><li> Comply with all policies and standards.</li><li> Adheres to Company’s commitment to workplace safety.</li></ul> Education Qualifications <ul><li>Bachelors Degree in accounting required. </li><li> Equivalent experience required. </li></ul> Experience Qualifications <ul><li>4-6 years accounting experience </li><li>1-3 years supervisory experience </li><li>4-6 years building materials and construction industry experience </li></ul> Skills and Abilities <ul><li>Must have communication and management skills, must be able to handle multiple tasks and projects, work well under extreme pressure &amp; stress, must have the ability to work with many different levels of management. </li><li>Legal compliance and tax laws relating to business operations. </li><li>Computer literate. </li></ul> .
