The Sr Replenishment Cross-Functional Process Analyst sits in the Replenishment Organization, under the Replenishment Strategy & Change sub-team. The Sr Replenishment Cross-Functional Process Analyst works closely with both Cross-Functional partners and replenishment teams to develop analytics around new and existing initiatives with a focus on improving replenishment Key Performance Indicators.This position has been segmented as hybrid meaning the work is a combination of 2 days onsite In Rosemont, IL per month - normally the second fiscal week (Tuesday and Wednesday) and the rest remotely as defined by the role segmentation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cross-Functional & Replenishment Process Improvements
Replenishment process support: The Cross-Functional Process Senior Analyst is responsible for designing, building, & maintaining advanced SQL queries to support replenishment and supply chain decision making. Additionally, they will be responsible for tracking KPIs, success metrics, and reporting those metrics to Senior Leadership and US Foods executives.
Root Cause & Analytics: Identify and support low performing Areas. Analyze large data sets across the supply chain lifecycle – to identify trends, risk, opportunities. Maintain continuous improvements log of simplification opportunities. Serve as conduit between Area stakeholders, cross-functional partners, and key stakeholders to tailor and improve processes for the Region (or Assigned Business Unit(s)).
Cross Functional Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with Vendor & Category Management on new and existing initiatives and drive value-added results. Knowledge of USF business operations is desirable
Feedback collection & analysis: Develop perspective on views of key functional stakeholders for simplified cross-functional processes through interviews, written feedback collection through surveys and quantitative analysis. Identify low-performing Areas based on feedback and key performance metrics to provide support
Prioritization: Coordinate cross-functional process improvement across Region (or Assigned Business Unit(s)) with the other Cross-Functional Support Senior Analysts & create perspective on prioritization of opportunities for implementation
Implementation: Draft, iterate, and finalize implementation plans for improvement opportunities. Coordinate sequencing across Region (or Assigned Business Unit(s)) with other Cross-Functional Support Senior Analysts
Continuous improvement: Keep close pulse on process execution in Region/Areas in scope and further refine. Align suggested process improvements with key replenishment and other functional stakeholders (e.g., Merchandising, Sales)
Cross-Functional Support Teams: Leverage existing support teams (offshore) to improve reporting processes, perform lower-complexity work, and offer insights across the business
Executive Communication
Drive quality outputs in coordination with Replenishment, Area Leadership, and Supply Chain Senior Leadership
Executive communication: Prepare messaging for senior US Foods leaders (e.g., C-Suite, Supply Chain Senior Leadership) on all simplified cross-functional processes within the Region. Executive-level verbal and written communications skills are required
Data Management
Own Region-level or Company-level KPI data tracking for simplified cross-functional processes:
Data management: Utilize SQL (in Snowflake – a plus) to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets and review key performance metrics per process to measure cross-functional program performance. Maintain continuous improvements log to prioritize and propose changes. Update data requests in a timely and accurate manner
Analytics support: Develop SQL queries to provide analytical support on ad-hoc needs (e.g., key performance updates) impacting simplified processes and provide insights and recommendations.
Continuous improvement of data processes: Standardize processes for driving efficient cross-functional data management and maintenance (e.g., process, data templates, regular data audits, data integrity)

The Cross-Functional Support Senior Analyst reports directly to the Senior Manager, Replenishment Strategy & Change
RELATIONSHIPS
The Cross-Functional Process Senior Analyst sits within the Replenishment Excellence function but is essential to the cross-functional processes for Replenishment, impacting other functions such as Sales, Merchandising, and Logistics. Given its cross-functional nature, the role requires building and maintaining communications with multiple stakeholders within the company:
Replenishment related functions in Areas (e.g., AVPMM, AVPLS, AVPNS, AVPO)
Cross-Functional Champions (i.e., mandates for senior Replenishment leaders)
Regional & Area Replenishment Leadership (e.g., ADR, SDRR)
Executive & senior replenishment leadership (e.g., CTO, SVP of Replenishment, VP of Replenishment)
Transformation Office
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
3-5 years of experience using data to improve processes and inform leadership decision-making, preferably in a supply chain or operational environment.
Experience working across multiple business units, such as Finance, Supply Chain, or Sales, to execute and improve strategic initiatives.
High proficiency in data analysis & visualization tools (i.e., Excel, Sigma, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
Proficiency in SQL and experience with Snowflake is desirable
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally and draw linkages to business
High attention to detail, strong customer orientation, and fact-based decision-making
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, analytics, supply chain, engineering or similar functions or equivalent military or professional experience

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between
