We’re seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead our Central Region sales team of Enterprise Account Executives. In this role, you’ll own regional revenue growth, drive pipeline creation, and scale strategic customer relationships across enterprise and mid-market segments. You’ll be a hands-on leader—coaching your team to consistently exceed quota while building scalable sales processes for a rapidly growing startup.This is a field sales role &amp; we are currently seeking qualified candidates in the Central time zone. ﻿ Responsibilities <ul><li>Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Account Executives, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.</li><li>Own revenue targets for the Central Region and consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals.</li><li>Partner with marketing, sales engineering, and customer success to drive pipeline generation and ensure successful customer outcomes.</li><li>Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with enterprise customers and prospects.</li><li>Forecast accurately, provide regular business updates to senior leadership, and drive data-driven decision-making.</li><li>Recruit, onboard, and retain top sales talent to scale the regional team.</li><li>Serve as a cultural ambassador and champion of Upwind Security’s values, representing the company at industry events and regional conferences.</li></ul><ul><li>Proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams to exceed quota in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.</li><li>Deep knowledge of enterprise sales motions (strategic prospecting, MEDDIC/MEDDPICC, value-based selling).</li><li>Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting of the business to leadership and embrace a data-driven approach to SFDC hygiene</li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills.</li><li>Self-motivated, results-driven, collaborative, and adaptable to keep up in a very fast-paced, rapidly changing, startup environment</li><li>Strong understanding of cloud security concepts, technologies, and trends preferred</li><li>Exceptional leadership, coaching, and communication skills with the ability to inspire teams and influence senior stakeholders.</li><li>Based in the Central U.S. with the ability to travel regionally as needed</li></ul>
