You’ll partner closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to embed reliability and testability into how we build.</p> <p>This role goes beyond testing, it’s about building scalable systems, driving automation adoption, and strengthening our release confidence at speed. You’ll help set the standard for how features are validated, risks are managed, and quality signals are surfaced across teams. In this role, you’ll shape how we test, automate, and release at game-day speed.</p> <h3>About the role</h3> <ul> <li>Lead QA strategy and design scalable test frameworks that power feature validation, regression testing, and automation coverage across platforms. </li> <li>Own release validation across mobile and web platforms, partnering with engineering and product to ensure each release is stable, performant, and delivers a seamless player experience.</li> <li>Improve visibility into release readiness, test health, and product quality metrics.</li> <li>Collaborate with engineering to identify automation opportunities and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.</li> <li>Mentor developers and QA engineers on best testing practices, fostering a culture of quality ownership and continuous improvement.</li> </ul> <h3>Who you are</h3> <ul> <li>8+ years of experience in QA engineering with deep expertise in test strategy, planning, and execution.</li> <li>Proven background leading release testing efforts and managing complex environments across multiple teams.</li> <li>Proven ability with TestRail, Jira, and debugging tools like Datadog, Crashlytics, and Proxyman.</li> <li>Hands-on experience testing APIs and backend services, with strong understanding of data flows across systems.</li> <li>Strong collaborator and mentor who builds trust across engineering and product teams.</li> <li>Experience working with or leading distributed/offshore QA teams.</li> <li>Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where quality and speed go hand in hand.</li> </ul> <h3>Even better if you have</h3> <ul> <li>Experience with native mobile automation (XCUITest, Espresso, Playwright, Xcode Cloud, or Android Studio).</li> <li>Background in test observability, reliability, or performance testing for consumer-scale apps.</li> <li>Passion for sports, fantasy gaming, or the live energy of sports betting products.</li> </ul> <p><em>Our target starting base salary range for this position is between $135,000 and $160,000, plus target equity.
