About the job This position is needed to directly influence the development and deployment of our solutions, improving operational efficiency and enhancing customer experiences. This role is pivotal in guaranteeing that Efficiency Engineering is equipped with the expert talents required to consistently deliver cutting-edge software and data science solutions. Responsibilities In this role, you’ll: <ul> <li>Serve as full stack developer in distributed systems, data technologies, with strong software engineering skills.</li> <li>Drive technical innovation and research to stay at the forefront of emerging data technologies and best practices.</li> <li>Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, product and engineering teams to execute on our roadmap and deliver business value.</li> <li>Collaborate with engineers to design and review technical blueprints, and translate product requirements to software plans and deliverables</li> <li>Continuously improve our best practices for how we operate.</li> <li>Continuously adapt to the evolving JavaScript ecosystem to maximize engineering efficiency.</li> </ul> Qualifications  Twilio values diverse experiences from all kinds of industries, and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply. We are always looking for people who will bring something new to the table! *Required: <ul> <li>Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.</li> <li>6+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.</li> <li>Experience with full-stack development building web apps, using modern programming languages such as JavaScript, Typescript or React.</li> <li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence technical decisions and drive alignment across teams.</li> <li>Strong leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing high-performing engineering teams.</li> <li>Strong computer science fundamentals and expertise with Javascript full-stack development.</li> <li>Experience creating unit tests, performance tests and automating E2E tests. </li> <li>Experience with feature flag practices.</li> </ul> Location This role will be remote, and based in Colombia.
