About the job This position is needed to play a key role in further growing Twilio’s social impact. As our new Growth &amp; Events Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for helping to drive demand through field marketing programs to meet/exceed our revenue goals. You will partner closely with Sales and cross-functional Marketing teams to define the right event mix to accomplish the business goals. You will concept and deliver strategic field marketing (both in-person and virtual) programs including Twilio Sponsored Live Events, 3rd Party Industry Events, Partner Events, Webinars, Roundtables, and Custom Twilio.org Experiences. This includes the promotion before, during, and after the events. Responsibilities In this role, you’ll: <ul> <li>Define the right event mix to accomplish sales and marketing goals.</li> <li>Plan and execute strategic events (both in-person and virtual).</li> <li>Develop internal playbooks and best practices for all categories of events, both first party and third party.</li> <li>Build and manage an annual calendar and system for core information (e.g., event brief, dates, location, goals, speakers) for all events.</li> <li>Create content, landing pages, follow up nurtures and sales enablement for all webinars, roundtables, and custom experiences.</li> <li>Work closely with sales, growth, campaigns and demand gen to ensure stakeholder buy-in as well as visibility and timely follow ups.</li> <li>Work closely with operations for lead management.</li> <li>Maintain, report and forecast budget spend and efficacy of the spend against event results.</li> </ul> Qualifications  Twilio values diverse experiences from all kinds of industries, and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply. Required: <ul> <li>A minimum of 5+ years of experience in B2B software event &amp; field marketing</li> <li>Experience in growth marketing, demand generation, or integrated campaigns</li> <li>Strong in content creation such as outreach and nurture emails, event materials, sales plays. Experience leveraging AI to create content effectively</li> <li>Proven ability to work closely and successfully with a sales organization</li> <li>Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple concurrent programs and tactics at once</li> <li>Strong understanding of marketing funnel metrics - Inquiries, MQLs, SQLs</li> <li>Experience managing event driven leads through Salesforce for lead capture, ROI tracking and campaign attribution</li> <li>Experience partnering closely with internal creative teams and/or agency partners </li> <li>Strong project management skills and ability to use data to guide decision-making and resource allocation </li> <li>Ability to establish credibility upwards and cross functionally to drive collaboration, alignment and decision making </li> <li>Exceptional communicator, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport, set expectations and drive to success</li> <li>Working knowledge of Salesforce, Google Apps, Email Platforms (i.e. Marketo), ON24, Tableau, Slack</li> </ul> Desired: <ul> <li>Industry experience in CPaaS, CCaaS, Customer Data Platforms (CDP), or cloud communications strongly preferred.</li> <li>Global event coordination experience.</li> <li>Familiarity with the Key Verticals our Social Impact team serves - Healthcare, Public Sector/Government, Higher Education, Nonprofits</li> <li>Familiarity with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and how events should be integrated into ABM plans.</li> <li>Experience with Airtable Program Management software.</li> </ul> Location This role will be remote, but is not eligible to be hired in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, WA. Travel  We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows: <ul> <li>Based in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont or Washington D.C. : $94,700 - $118,400.</li> <li>Based in New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $100,300 - $125,300.</li> <li>Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $111,400 - $139,200.</li> <li>This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are generally eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.</li> </ul> The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
