This role involves strategic account management, new business development, and leadership in transitioning customers from traditional models to advanced, subscription-based solutions. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales, this position plays a crucial role in achieving sales targets and fostering long-term relationships with key enterprise clients.<ul><li>Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to achieve sales targets and expand customer base.</li><li>Lead the transition of existing customers to subscription-based models, articulating the value and benefits effectively.</li><li>Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region, including cold calls, networking, and leveraging existing relationships.</li><li>Maintain and deepen relationships with existing accounts, ensuring customer success and satisfaction.</li><li>Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and contracts with accurate pricing and configurations.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to align sales strategies with company goals.</li><li>Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs, and generate product development ideas.</li><li>Attend and participate in customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events to promote Trimble solutions.</li><li>Lead, mentor, and support sales team members within the region, fostering a culture of success and goal achievement.</li></ul>What Skills &amp; Experience You Should Bring<ul><li>Proven experience in sales and account management within the transportation, logistics, or technology sectors.</li><li>Strong understanding of cloud-based architecture and the value proposition of subscription models.</li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales quotas consistently.</li><li>Proficient with CRM software, preferably Salesforce, and Google Workspace.</li><li>Experience in selling software solutions to the transportation or logistics market preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with Trimble Transportation’s product offerings and the broader transportation technology landscape preferred.</li></ul>About Our Division: <div>Transportation: Trimble Transportation optimizes the movement of freight by providing shippers and carriers with mobility, enterprise, and mapping software to run their businesses more efficiently.
