Job Description
Join our dynamic team at TOMRA Food as a Field Service Engineer, where youll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our cutting-edge food sorting systems. Were seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to take on the challenge of providing top-notch customer service, encompassing commissioning, operation, testing, integration, optimisation, maintenance, training, and repair activities primarily in Turkey.
Reporting to our Team leader, youll be an integral part of our field service team. Youll be responsible for promptly responding to equipment and customer issues both on-site and remotely. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering detailed field reports following each installation or technical intervention, while also conducting training sessions for our customers maintenance and service staff.
Qualifications
About You:
- Bachelors degree in Electronics, Electrotechnical, Automation, Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in on-site preventive and corrective maintenance, supporting industrial customers.
- Experience in the food industry and familiarity with sorting technologies will be considered a strong advantage.
- Good understanding of IT, networking, and PC configuration.
- A valid driver’s license and active driving experience are required.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Hands-on, able to deal with stress effectively.
- Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, primarily within Turkey, with occasional international travel or flexible working hours.
- Excellent communication skills in English. Other languages would be welcome.
- Preference will be given to candidates already based in the Aegean region (İzmir or Manisa), or those who are willing to relocate there following initial training.
