As a Closing Team Lead, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our customers reach the finish line with confidence and clarity. You’ll lead a team of closers, overseeing day-to-day operations while managing your own pipeline. This is a highly collaborative role requiring expert knowledge of the mortgage closing process, an eye for detail, and a deep commitment to delivering a smooth and efficient experience for our customers. <h3>What You’ll Do:</h3> <ul> <li>Lead the Closing Team: Supervise a team of mortgage closers, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to drive quality and efficiency.</li> <li>Pipeline Management: Monitor individual and team pipelines to ensure files move swiftly through the closing process while meeting compliance and regulatory requirements.</li> <li>Quality Control: Review team files to ensure documentation accuracy, fee compliance, and proper coordination with title companies and warehouse banks.</li> <li>File Ownership: Manage an individual pipeline of complex purchase loans, ensuring initial closing disclosures are sent timely, closing packages are accurate, the signed closing package meets all requirements, prior to fund conditions are met, and funding authorization is given.</li> <li>Compliance Oversight: Review files for adherence to TILA, RESPA, HMDA, Reg B, and other federal/state guidelines. Compensation for this role is $90,000 per year in On-Target Earnings (OTE), which includes base salary and variable compensation.
