As a Junior Closer, you’ll gain hands-on experience in the mortgage process from start to finish. You’ll assist in coordinating loan closings, preparing closing packages, and ensuring seamless transactions so homebuyers get their keys on time. With a strong desire to grow, you’ll develop the skills needed to become a seasoned closer/funder while delivering top-tier customer service.. <h3>What You’ll Do:</h3> <ul> <li>Redisclose all fee changes due to changes in loan terms throughout the process (e.g. third party fees, changes in appraised values, etc.) to ensure Tomo is in compliance.</li> <li>Request and monitor all lender wires through the warehouse bank to fund loans on behalf of the entire closing team. </li> <li>Track all collateral packages to ensure timely delivery to warehouse banks and subsequent  shipment to designated investors. </li> </ul> Your role will evolve to… <ul> <li>Thoroughly review all pre-closing documents to ensure accuracy of information, including fees, rates, property details, and vesting before document preparation.</li> <li>Input required closing data in the loan origination system</li> <li>Review compliance reports and remediate any fails or alerts </li> <li>Check title report for correct endorsements and approved items, and to verify that Borrower and property are correct</li> <li>Prepare and issue the Initial Closing Disclosure.</li> <li>Draw and release closing documents to the Settlement Agent</li> <li>Authorize funding of loan</li> <li>Assist in resolving any post-closing issues as needed</li> </ul> <h3>What Makes You a Great Fit:</h3> <ul> <li>Attention to detail and organizational skills</li> <li>Staying current on federal, state, investor and internal policies and procedures </li> <li>Maintaining transparency between all teammates involved in a customer’s journey</li> </ul> <h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>A bachelor’s degree</li> <li>1+ years of professional experience (bonus if that is recent mortgage closing/funding experience)</li> </ul> What’s in It for You?  <ul> <li>Career growth: Multiple paths within Tomo, including elite operational roles</li> <li>Competitive compensation: $50,000 base salary, with opportunity for additional variable/bonus compensation</li> <li>Equity ownership: All teammates receive stock options</li> <li>Coaching and mentorship: Build a foundation for a mortgage career</li> </ul> </div>
