<div>THUNDER | JOB DESCRIPTION</div>Client Executive – Homeland Security / Civilian Location: Hybrid (US-based, strong preference for DC Metro Area). In-person expectations include periodic visits with customers and to Thunder offices in Tysons Corner. Job Summary:  Thunder is the fastest-growing Salesforce consulting partner, backed by Salesforce Ventures, and known for delivering mission-focused innovation through Salesforce, Agentforce, and integrated AI solutions. We are expanding our federal practice and seeking a Client Executive to lead growth across Homeland Security and Civilian agencies. This role is responsible for developing pipeline, cultivating executive relationships, leading capture, and closing deals that expand Thunder’s presence in the civilian federal market. This is a hands-on sales and capture role, where you will write and shape proposals, partner with Salesforce Public Sector teams, and work with Thunder’s demo and delivery experts to deliver digital solutions on Salesforce and AWS. Reporting to our Head of Federal, the Client Executive will be the primary point of contact to the customer organization, responsible for long-term account growth, client success, and coordination with Thunder’s delivery teams. Role + Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Own pipeline and bookings targets for Homeland Security and Civilian agencies.</li> <li>Build trusted executive relationships with senior civilian leaders and decision makers.</li> <li>Drive capture strategy, teaming, and proposal execution for major Civilian opportunities.</li> <li>Lead or contribute directly to proposal writing, ensuring submissions are compliant, compelling, and aligned to mission needs.</li> <li>Collaborate with Salesforce Public Sector and AWS sellers to co-sell and co-deliver solutions.</li> <li>Work with Thunder’s pre-sales/demo team to shape mission-aligned solutions and accelerators.</li> <li>Partner with Thunder’s delivery teams to ensure program success and client satisfaction.</li> <li>Represent Thunder at Homeland Security and Civilian federal forums, industry events, and customer engagements.</li> <li>Capture customer feedback and mission priorities to inform Thunder’s federal offerings.</li> <li>Develop thought leadership content, including points of view and white papers, that resonate with Homeland Security and Civilian missions.</li> </ul> Qualifications: <ul> <li>8–10+ years of federal business development or sales with a focus on Homeland Security or civilian agencies.</li> <li>Strong relationships across major civilian agencies.</li> <li>Demonstrated success winning $5M+ TCV federal contracts.</li> <li>Experience with RFP/RFI capture, proposal writing, and teaming strategies.</li> <li>Understanding of civilian procurement vehicles (IDIQs, BPAs, OTAs).</li> <li>Salesforce or SaaS/cloud ecosystem experience preferred.</li> <li>Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance preferred.</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree required; Salesforce certifications or advanced degree a plus.</li> </ul> U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply.
