<h2>Job Description:</h2><h2>Senior Research Analyst II (Olefins)</h2><h2>Dow Jones       Singapore         </h2><h2>About the Role:</h2>We are looking for an analyst to support our Light Olefins service through regular industry engagement, timely pricing inputs, and ownership of weekly/monthly market reports. The role involves analyzing supply-demand dynamics, collaborating with global teams on key initiatives, and supporting client discussions with data-driven insights. Youll also contribute to the commercial growth of our service by promoting our market expertise. This role reports to the Research and Analysis Associate Director.About the Team:Chemical Market Analytics by OPIS, a Dow Jones company, enables stakeholders in the global chemical industry to improve operational efficiency with deep insights, future outlooks, price discovery and consultation from a celebrated team of subject matter experts. We offer short- and long-term market coverage for more than 200 core building-block chemicals with a full suite of advisory services and top-tier events held around the globe. The worldwide chemical industry looks to Chemical Market Analytics to guide decisions and help manage risk across the entire value chain. <h2>You Will:</h2><ul><li>Provide weekly/monthly light olefins pricing inputs through the interaction with industry players. </li><li>Respond to client questions and serve as a resource for client brainstorming/discussions as required.</li><li>Update the charts and tables that get published in the report on a routine basis; own the responsibility to publish the report. </li><li>Work on supply-demand dynamics of the light olefins products </li><li>Coordinate with global colleagues for both regional and global new initiatives.</li><li>Promote Chemical Market Analytics expertise on the value chain and be responsible for the commercial growth of the service</li></ul><h2>You Have:</h2><ul><li>5+ years of chemical industry experience is preferred</li><li>Demonstrated passion or interest in the petrochemical industry</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Bilingual is a plus. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to cooperatively work across an organization at multiple levels to efficiently and effectively utilize the resources and knowledge base available in a team approach.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure to achieve set deadlines and with a high attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional Suite.</li><li>Strong interpersonal, analytical and communication skills (written and oral).</li><li>Self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to achieve results.</li><li>Flexible working hours with the option to work from home or in the office, coordinated with teammates.</li></ul><h2>About Our Organization:</h2>Dow Jones is a global provider of news and business information, delivering content to consumers and organizations around the world across multiple formats, including print, digital, mobile and live events.
