Chemours’ Titanium Technologies (TT) business is seeking Competitive Intelligence Specialist, Global and China, to join our Product & Market Management Team. This position will be available at Chemours Singapore Office and will report directly to the manager of Global Market and Competitive Intelligence.
Competitive Intelligence Specialist, Global and China, will conduct competitive landscape research, analyze competitive market data, and manage data to provide insights to business decisions. Competitive Intelligence Specialist will work with sales, technical teams, and external stakeholders to generate business intelligence for sustainable growth of TT business.
Key skills for this role are research capabilities, analytical skills, effective communication, strategic thinking, and mobilizing resources to accomplish goals.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Creating insights with data analysis for Global, AP and EMEA regions particularly China.
- Enhancing business understanding of the TiO2 market, competitive dynamics and enabling data-based decisions
- Managing Global Competitive Intelligence data and information
- Tracking the trade data and competitive activities for business inputs
- Leading and supporting data digitization initiatives
- Leading and supporting market research for business decisions
The following is required for this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, business or marketing with experience
- Skills in leading complex cross-functional tasks and initiatives with successful outcomes, within a remote matrix organization.
- High analytical skills with a data-driven approach
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint). In particular, a high level of expertise in Power BI
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written report)
- Language skills – fluent English
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
The following is preferred for this role:
- Business acumen with experience in product management, marketing, project management, customer survey
- Well-grounded knowledge of SQL and DAX
- Data analytics or Marketing Degree.
- Proven cross-disciplinary skills in computer science, business and communication
- Experience in market research or in Global material science companies
- Language skills – fluent in both English and Mandarin (read and write)
