This is a senior role in a fast-paced environment involved in strategic planning and coordination of NFL video, identifying of stories that will benefit from video, and brainstorming for new ideas.</div><div><br /></div><div>This role is 100% remote for candidates currently residing in the United States or Canada.</div><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Attend NFL editorial meetings and video meetings to be informed of what is coming and suggest new ideas.</li><li>Coordinate video assignments with writers, editors and video producers.</li><li>Add video assets to stories and the feed.</li><li>Plan for tentpole events on the NFL calendar.</li><li>Work to bring a distinctive, compelling, and authentic voice to all digital media products.</li><li>Maintain an understanding and proficiency of subscription and engagement metrics.</li><li>Maintain proficiency and knowledge of SEO (best practices available).</li><li>Contribute to oversight of staffing assignments, editorial resources and process.</li><li>Maintain an updated and accurate forward-looking editorial budget.</li><li>Collaborate with staff on story ideas.</li><li>Edit and publish stories via WordPress.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>4+ years of professional experience in sports journalism, including video and breaking news experience.</li><li>High-end knowledge of the NFL.</li><li>Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.</li></ul><div><i>The annual base salary range for this role is $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 USD. The total compensation offered for this position may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skills, and location. It may also include non-cash rewards and benefits.
