<p>The Remote Support Operations Engineer provides control and monitoring support for specific industrial battery energy storage facilities under the jurisdiction of Tesla and governing bodies. This primarily involves continuously monitoring the site for any abnormalities and deviations from expected operating behavior and expeditiously acting when required, as well as adjusting the control/operating mode of the system as required by the governing bodies. This includes escalating to engineering teams for rapid issue resolution, as well communicating with the governing bodies to notify them of the situation and action plans.</p><p>For this position Remote Support Engineers will work a paired graveyard shift position, working 10-hour shifts, 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m, PST, supporting a 24/7 environment. Scheduled shifts are Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday, typically 3 days off.  Shift times and coverage will be based on the business need.
