In this role, you will profile, analyze, and optimize cutting-edge models, influencing the next generation of architectures that meet the demands of future computing. This role is remote, based out of Taiwan. We welcome candidates at various experience levels for this role. During the interview process, candidates will be assessed for the appropriate level, and offers will align with that level, which may differ from the one in this posting.   Who You Are <ul> <li>PhD or Master’s degree in Compute Science, Applied Math or related science or engineering field of study (or equivalent experience).</li> <li>Strong proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python and C++.</li> <li>Deep understanding of AI/ML model architectures and their execution on hardware.</li> <li>Comfortable getting deep into CPU and accelerator architecture and micro-architecture.</li> <li>Curious, collaborative, and driven to solve hard problems across the software-hardware boundary.</li> </ul>   What We Need <ul> <li>Experience bringing up state-of-the-art AI/ML models (e.g. Llama, DeepSeek, Qwen) on new hardware platforms.</li> <li>Profile and identify performance bottlenecks and guide architectural design and system optimization.</li> <li>Apply model optimization techniques (e.g. quantization, sparsity, attention) and other software and hardware features to improve performance and efficiency.</li> <li>Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in AI/ML technology, integrating new ideas into Tenstorrent’s software and hardware solutions.</li> </ul>   What You Will Learn <ul> <li>How Tenstorrent is building next-gen AI infrastructure from silicon to scale.</li> <li>Techniques to optimize data movement and compute across heterogenous architectures.</li> <li>How to scale large models efficiently on platforms built specifically for AI</li> </ul>   Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets.
