Telesat is headquartered in Ottawa, Canada, and has offices and facilities around the world.</div><div> </div><div>The company’s state-of-the-art fleet consists of 14 GEO satellites, the Canadian payload on ViaSat-1 and one LEO 3 demonstration satellite.  For more information, follow Telesat on X and LinkedIn or visit <a href="http://www.telesat.com/">www.telesat.com</a></div><h3>Main Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>In this role, the incumbent will issue recommendations and have influence on the system verification and validation of the Telesat Lightspeed system</li><li>Develop system and sub system verification matrices against system requirements</li><li>Coordinate and participate in system level testing activities including test planning, execution and reporting </li><li>Serve as a SATCOM or Networking SME and support other technical staff as required </li><li>Develop/maintain test cases, test beds required for various Test cases.</li><li>Hands on testing in the LEO Lab for various data path and routing features.</li><li>Work with other segments like DevOps, Ground Systems, Satellite and foster a collaborative and innovative environment.</li><li>Plays an active role in component and subsystem design and test activities </li><li>Ensure product under test meets technical, functional, performance and business requirements. </li><li>Work with partners and other vendors to lead various test campaigns.</li></ul><h3>Education &amp; Experience Required:</h3><ul><li>B.
