In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, driving HR initiatives that support our companys growth, culture, and organizational effectiveness. You will play a critical role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives and ensuring our teams are empowered and engaged.<br /><br />This role will be<strong> hybrid to our NYC office,</strong> which will require you in office 1-3 days per week. </p> <hr /> <h2><strong>In this role youll:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Partner with senior leadership and management to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals.</li> <li>Design and implement organizational structures that enhance efficiency and support business growth.</li> <li>Coach and develop leaders to build strong leadership capabilities across the organization.</li> <li>Provide expert guidance on organizational design, talent management, employee relations, and performance management.</li> <li>Lead cross-functional projects and work in a matrix environment collaborating with global teams to drive HR initiatives.</li> <li>Drive initiatives related to employee engagement, culture and talent development.</li> <li>Support leaders through change management, workforce planning, and capability development.</li> <li>Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and recommend solutions.</li> <li>Leverage AI tools and technologies to enhance HR processes and decision-making.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies.</li> <li>Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and facilitate effective communication across teams.</li> </ul> <hr /> <h2><strong>What youll bring:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar strategic HR role.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels in a remote and hybrid environment.</li> <li>Proven experience in organizational design, including org structure development, job architecture, and operating model design.</li> <li>Strong track record in coaching and developing leaders at various levels.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience using AI tools and technologies in HR processes (e.g., talent analytics, recruitment, or employee engagement).</li> <li>Proven experience supporting a fast-paced, development-driven tech environment.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to lead projects and work in a matrix structure, collaborating effectively with global cross-functional teams.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously.</li> <li>Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.</li> </ul> <hr /> <h2><strong>Nice to have:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Fluent in Portuguese (both written and spoken).</li> <li>Experience working in Brazilian or LATAM tech companies and also in global companies with strong interaction with headquarters.</li> <li>Knowledge of HRIS systems and analytics tools.</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of organizational design methodologies and frameworks.</li> </ul> <hr /> <h2><strong>Additional details:</strong></h2> <p>At Teachable, we are committed to providing fair and competitive pay (using market data to inform our pay bands), rewarding high performance, and ensuring all employees have the opportunity and ability to impact Teachable’s overall company value. Base salaries will be reviewed at regular intervals throughout the year, typically following performance review cycles currently conducted bi-annually or in conjunction with a promotion.</p> <ul> <li>This role is open to candidates who can work hybrid to our NYC office.  </li> <li>Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. </li> <li>For this role, the base salary range is $120,000 to $150,000. A salary offer will be determined by a number of factors including experience, skill level, education, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
