The Cloud Architecture team collaborates across TCGplayer and eBay teams to ensure systems and technologies seamlessly work together. We are one of New York State’s 50 best employers and Fortune.com’s top 100 companies for women in the U.S. What you will accomplish:<ul><li>Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud architectures using AWS</li><li>Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align cloud strategies with business goals</li><li>Develop and enforce best practices for systems architecture, deployment, and operations of systems in the cloud</li><li>Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering teams on cloud-native technologies and architectural patterns</li><li>Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and processes to enhance cloud infrastructure and workflows</li><li>Ensure the reliability, availability, and security of cloud environments through effective monitoring and incident management strategies</li><li>Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency while maintaining performance and scalability</li><li>Serve as a technical liaison between product managers and engineering teams, ensuring seamless communication and execution  </li></ul>What you will bring:<ul><li>A relevant bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant industry, a relevant masters degree and 6 years of relevant industry, or 12 years of practical experience</li><li>Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role, with a preferred focus on AWS.</li><li>Expertise in systems architecture, including designing and implementing scalable and resilient solutions in the cloud</li><li>Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies, including containers (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures as well hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC design  </li><li>Comfortable with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform</li><li>Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform and CloudFormation  </li></ul>The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:$115,200 - $199,700Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
