As a Sr. Manager Financial Planning & Analysis, Stores Finance, you’ll oversee the end-to-end financial performance for a region of 500+ stores and will be responsible for the ongoing support to the Regional Senior Vice President and multiple Vice President level business partners, helping to guide stores through an evolving and dynamic retail environment. You will learn how Target’s strategies, from merchandising to digital fulfillment and everything in between, come to life through our stores and leverage your operational knowledge, financial acumen, and internal cross-functional relationships to help deliver on financial goals while ensuring our stores are supported to fuel the business and their teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Create and own monthly sales forecasts and hourly payroll plans for the region, ensuring operational, financial and team objectives are strategically balanced.
- Build strong relationships with senior stores leaders to understand and assess operational wins and opportunities and share and drive key financial outcomes.
- Identify areas for productivity and process improvement through analysis and modeling, leading with your point of view and bringing to life through partnerships with stores leaders and cross functional partners.
- Support designing, testing and implementing optimal payroll planning process solutions for stores.
- Function as a stakeholder on cross-functional project teams to deliver key strategic initiatives.
- Form strong partnerships within the Stores Finance team, Labor Engineering, Store Operations, and HR.

About you:
- 4-year college degree, MBA or equivalent experience (6 or more years) in Finance and/or Operations
- 1 - 5 years of experience in an operational environment; retail or supply chain experience preferred
- Strong analytical, decision-making, time management and organizational skills
- Superior leadership skills with enthusiasm, initiative and a passion for results
- Ability to work with all levels of management with high level of autonomy, motivation, and self-direction
- Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills. Experienced in working across departments/business units and driving results through collaboration
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines and competing priorities effectively
- Experience with complex data sets, connecting data & reporting needs to technical solutions
