The pay range is $71,000.00 - $128,000.00

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. One of the world’s leading and most recognized brands requires an industry-leading Assets Protection (AP) team who ensures the security of our teams, vendors, buildings and merchandise. Assets Protection teams function is to provide a secure environment for our team members and mitigate shortage to increase profitability in a Target distribution center.

Assets Protection teams will do this by leading a physical security culture and responding to crisis events, investigating and resolving theft and educating team members on operational shortage priorities.

As a SENIOR ASSETS PROTECTION BUSINESS PARTNER within AP you will improve the safe and secure experience by enhancing and developing processes that create operational improvements, be the voice of the GSCL team members, guests and vendors and serve as an advocate for AP GSCL during strategy development and support the implementation of key priorities throughout execution phases. You will build strong partnerships to help influence and drive impact to business strategies and will collaborate cross-functionally with field and enterprise partners to solve defined business problems and support innovation by creating and refining processes. You will also influence and support technology change management initiatives impacting AP GSCL. This requires seeking feedback from and working effectively with our AP leaders to gain clarity on opportunities within the scope of your role. Last, you will stay connected to relevant external market and industry trends that impact AP and will enable better decision making for the AP initiatives you will support.

About you:

• 4-year college degree

• 4+ years of experience in AP-related business support or retail field support role

• Project and process management/ownership experience

• Proven ability to establish and maintain effective cross-functional working relationships at multiple levels,

including senior leadership and frontline teams.

• Ability to influence key business partners and senior leadership, with a proven track record of shaping outcomes

and driving alignment among key business partners and senior leaders through thoughtful communication and

strategic insight.

• Ability to connect projects and concepts across teams to create an informed perspective

• Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively with limited direction

• Continual learner always seeking and evaluating solutions to improve our operations

• Microsoft Office proficient

This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as Flex for Your Day) work arrangement based on Targets needs.  A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location thats not a Target location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.  A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team members core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
