Associate PSQR Analyst (hybrid, Mpls)

This role supports Product Safety, Quality, and Regulatory (PSQR) initiatives across all Owned Brands—including apparel, home, hardlines, essentials, and beauty. You will drive adherence to PSQR standards through effective program and process management, while championing continuous improvement through data insights and lab partnerships. Your work ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality products to Target’s omnichannel guests.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and synthesize data from multiple sources to identify trends, resolve product issues, and enhance the guest experience.
  • Support voice of guest investigations and issue resolution through targeted analytics.
  • On a quarterly basis, maintain and develop dashboards and metrics to inform leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Validate data and generate reports to support strategic business initiatives.
  • Support PSQR business operations projects that improve product quality, streamline processes, and mitigate risk.
  • Update and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Assist in developing new capabilities with labs to support testing and quality assurance efforts.
  • Communicate insights and updates effectively with internal and external stakeholders, tailoring messages to diverse audiences.

About You (Minimum Requirements)

  • 2+ years of work experience
  • Strong critical thinking, attention to detail and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to autonomously work under pressure with competing priorities and multi-system environment
  • Ability to make good decisions with limited or ambiguous information
  • Respects, appreciates and values diverse voices and approaches
  • Committed to creating equitable experiences and fostering an inclusive team
  • Experience with Microsoft applications: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, etc.

Desired / Preferred Requirements

  • 3+ years of work experience in Corporate Retail environment, Business Operations, Merchandising / Sourcing or Finance / Accounting
  • Experience in Product Safety, Product Compliance or Risk Management
  • Experience in Quality Assurance Quality Control or Quality Management
  • Knowledge of Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) or other federal government agencies
  • Familiar with Target systems and infrastructure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Intermediate to Advanced experience with Excel and Powerpoint
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to process data and enhance communications

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
