This position supports manager research for all investment strategies used across the T. Rowe Price Multi-Asset (MA) division.ResponsibilitiesOngoing Due Diligence (85%):<ul><li>Conduct internal and external due diligence activities, including meeting with investment teams, across underlying strategies used within T. Rowe Price multi-asset portfolios.</li><li>Coordinate with research and risk teams to augment monitoring and reporting activities.</li><li>Represent MA division with clients and consultants as related to due diligence process and oversight.</li><li>Serve as subject-matter-expert on due diligence oversight of underlying T. Rowe Price and external portfolios’ investment processes, people, performance, external ratings (e.g., Morningstar, Lipper), etc. for internal and external audiences.</li><li>Use technology resources to improve the efficiency of the due diligence process.</li></ul>New Manager Search and Selection (15%):<ul><li>Coordinate with internal teams in developing open architecture mandates and responding to RFPs.</li><li>Conduct comprehensive manager searches and assist in the selection of best-in-class solutions.</li><li>Establish relationships with third party managers to source data, performance, commentary, and related materials.</li><li>Coordinate on operational, legal and compliance related aspects of on-boarding third party managers.</li></ul>QualificationsRequired:<ul><li>BA/BS degree in finance or related field, with strong credentials and relevant work experience.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of manager due diligence experience.</li><li>Strong presentations and writing skills.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and inter-personal skills with the ability to excel in a dynamic and interactive team environment.</li><li>Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>7+ years of manager research experience across asset classes.</li><li>Experience with both traditional and alternative investment strategies (e.g. hedge funds, private equity, private credit and direct investments)</li><li>Experience with asset allocation products, portfolio construction and related concepts.</li><li>Expertise in using analytical tools such as FactSet, Bloomberg, eVestment, Morningstar Direct, etc.</li><li>Client facing experience. </li><li>Completion of or progress towards CFA, CAIA or comparable designation.</li><li>A self-starter with leadership qualities and ability to “own” initiatives and work in a dynamic environment.</li></ul>FINRA RequirementsFINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.Work FlexibilityThis role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.
