This role is ideal for a proven leader who combines deep technical expertise with a strong understanding of enterprise systems, organizational processes, and the ability to drive innovation from within.   Role SummaryAs a Lead Business Analyst, you will be a technical thought leader and a hands-on problem solver, supporting our strategic assessment of vendor solutions for critical business demands desiring the latest technologies. You will serve as a bridge between research and business stakeholders, and will require a thorough working knowledge of all business areas and technical needs across the firm, helping shape the future of AI adoption and vendor-based solution delivery. Responsibilities <ul><li>Technical Understanding: you will be a leading subject matter expert on where AI capabilities lie internally and externally, where solutions exist, and where new ones are needed, and which tools should be pursued to maximize business value</li><li>Drive end-to-end solution ideation and delivery, ensuring solutions move from idea to prototype to a production ownership team efficiently and securely. </li><li>Thought Leadership &amp; Innovation: you will help understand what is possible, whats been done, whats failed, and whats next</li><li>Act as a trusted advisor on AI/ML tools, frameworks, and emerging technologies. </li><li>Influence senior stakeholders by communicating the business value of AI solutions in a financial services context, and help them navigate to value efficiently and effectively. </li><li>Organizational Integration </li><li>Leverage a deep understanding of the firm’s systems, processes, and governance to accelerate solution adoption. </li><li>Partner with IT, data, compliance, and business units to ensure AI solutions align with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements. </li><li>Act as a connector between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring solutions address real business needs. </li><li>Mentorship &amp; Team Development </li><li>Mentor and coach business analysts to gain deeper AI-related technical understanding needed at the frontier of modern solution integration</li><li>Help foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within T. Rowe Price Labs.   </li></ul>Qualifications  Required:<ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related fields such as systems or information science and 8+ years of relevant experience</li><li>Demonstrated success understanding complex enterprise environments and driving process change and adoption </li><li>Solution architecture design, implementation or analysis</li><li>Ability to break down complex problems, and manage complexity in modeling</li><li>Recognized for technical thought leadership and the ability to drive AI adoption across business and technology functions. </li><li>Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and collaborate across functions. </li><li>Proven track record of guiding teams and aligning solutions with enterprise processes and standards.   </li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>Experience in financial services or other regulated industries. </li><li>Familiarity with large language models (LLMs), generative AI, or NLP in financial contexts. </li><li>Contributions to enterprise-wide technology initiatives, standards, or governance frameworks.   </li></ul>FINRA RequirementsFINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.Work FlexibilityThis role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to three days per week from home.Base Salary RangesPlease review the job posting for the location of this specific opportunity.$120,000.00 - $205,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers $132,000.00 - $225,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C. $150,000.00 - $256,000.00 for the location of: New York, CaliforniaPlacement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role.  Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package.  Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and InclusionAt T.
