Rowe Price internship program includes a formal orientation, peer and senior mentor assignments, and formal learning opportunities. In addition to the work assignments within the assigned department, interns also gain exposure to associates and senior leaders across the firm through an executive speaker series, neworking and social events, and engagement with our Business Resource Groups.    Digital Assets Strategy (DAS) is responsible for developing and leading the implementation and execution of the firm’s digital assets strategy. DAS takes an asset-class view of the digital assets space and looks at the investment and operational implementations of the universe of cryptographic tokens, coins, protocols, and derivatives supported on blockchain technologies. The goal of the internship is to develop the intern’s institutional investment skillset in the digital assets space, and for the intern to make a meaningful contribution to the development of T. Rowe Price’s evolving digital asset strategy Responsibilities  <ul><li>Complete a two-part project: (1) catalogue and evaluate the leading investment frameworks for digital asset investing, and (2) analyze and assess the investment attractiveness of a leading blockchain mainnet or protocol </li><li>This requires preparing an overview of the relevant blockchain sector (Layer 1s, Layer 2s, Oracles, etc.) as well as developing the broader investment case for the corresponding sub-sector within the ecosystem, and performing comparative analysis on competing mainnets or protocols </li><li>May also involve smaller blockchain / digital assets research related projects including quantitative analysis and related sector research to give broad exposure over the internship </li></ul>Qualifications Required: <ul><li>Full time student pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree with an expected graduation date between December 2026 – May/June 2028  </li><li>GPA of 3.5 or higher </li></ul>Preferred: <ul><li>Preferred major in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Applied Math or related fields with some quantitative training.  </li><li>Strong foundational understanding of blockchain technology and protocols (this can be a result of academic coursework or being self-taught) </li><li>Modeling experience in Excel and/or Pytho </li><li>Strong quantitative analysis skills </li><li>Strong interest in digital asset markets and digital assets investing </li><li>Ability to independently conduct research into crypto projects, protocols, market developments </li><li>Strong academic background and intellectual curiosity </li><li>Highly motivated, self-starter with ability to work independently and with others </li><li>Effective communication skills (verbal and written) </li></ul>Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States (e.g., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant work status).FINRA RequirementsFINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.Work FlexibilityThis role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home, however, we will consider full-time telework for the right candidate.Base Salary RangesPlease review the job posting for the location of this specific opportunity.$75,000 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers $75,000 for the location of: Washington, D.C. $75,000 for the location of: New York, CaliforniaPlacement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role.  Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package.  Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and InclusionAt T.
