*This position is required to come into the Frisco, TX or Overland Park, KS office at least 3 days a week. It is not a remote position.*

Job Overview
The Technology Sourcing Manager is an individual contributor role that builds and maintains field service supplier relationships for T-Mobile. This position will be dedicated to supporting our field engineering and operations teams in procuring field services suppliers. Field service suppliers assist the engineering teams with leasing activities, permitting, building, and maintaining our best in class network. The Technology Sourcing Manager is responsible for establishing, continual negotiation and maintaining all commercial terms and contracts with our suppliers. It owns and drives strategic sourcing including Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Quotations (RFQ) and Requests for Information (RFI). It helps to drive T-Mobiles strategic direction within field services. The TSM leads and supports cross-functional sourcing groups, ensuring supplier performance, and drives strategic sourcing initiatives. This also includes sourcing plan management, supplier issue tracking/resolution, project status communication and risk assessment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Competitively sourcing technology in aspect of engineering and field services through RFP, RFI and RFQs.
  • Drafting, negotiating and executing contractual documents including but not limited to master service agreements, statements of work, letter agreements, and purchase orders.
  • Supplier management - supporting the evolution of supplier management through supplier scorecard development and supplier quarterly business.
  • Liaise with technical personnel to interpret technical specifications to commercial and corporate financial requirements.
  • Summarize and present business cases and agreements for executive review and approval.
  • Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.


Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree Business, Finance, Technology or Engineering (Required)
  • 4-7 years experience in a technology sourcing, an engineering role or similar role. (Required)
  • Experience in sourcing for field services suppliers (Preferred)
  • 4-7 years experience managing Business Requirements, Project Plans, Project Schedules and associated project materials in a mid to large size company. (Required)

Overland Park, KS Compensation Range: $94,700 - $128,100

Frisco, TX Compensation Range: $100,500 - $136,000

Base Pay Range: $87,000 - $156,900

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
