It is not available for remote opportunity.* Job Overview The Sr Category Manager is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies to achieve significant initial cost reductions while maintaining/improving product quality and supplier service levels. Responsible for strategic category management, supplier negotiations, contracts, and ongoing supplier management in designated areas. Coordinates with IT, Accounting/Finance, Engineering and Operations, Insurance Risk Management, Third Party Risk Management, and Legal organizations to execute on business initiatives. This role works closely with key stakeholders, primarily in the Field Services organization, to develop effective cost reduction strategies and implementation plans. Primary responsibility is to utilize industry best practices to generate real savings while making effective supply base decisions with key stakeholders. This includes direct savings captured through consolidating company-wide purchasing volume and applying operational and commercial TCO levers to reduce cost and manage contracts with suppliers. This position will be responsible for a significant amount in annual spend, and will manage and execute complex contracts with OEMs and large strategic partners.<h3></h3>Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>Strategically manages spend by utilizing a proven sourcing process that engages stakeholders and aligns to business objectives.
