Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our Retirement Sales team as an Associate Relationship Manager, aligned to the Independent distribution channel!   About the role   As an Associate Relationship Manager, you will manage and develop relationships with Retirement Division partners to drive growth of product sales. You will bring a strong understanding of Symetra products and capabilities and align with partner needs and objectives. You will support your aligned Relationship Manager and work with internal partners to ensure distribution partner needs are met.    What you will do <ul> <li>Align needs of partner with Symetra capabilities; visit partner; attend and support conferences</li> <li>Attend sales meetings and quarterly update meetings for key assigned relationships</li> <li>Prepare for due diligence trips</li> <li>Prepare and submit monthly account summaries submitted to the Channel VP each month.</li> <li>Participate in the budget process through mid-year reforecasting, forecasting, and sponsorship estimates.</li> <li>Manage day to day external partner requirements including providing data, marketing materials, establishing meetings and delivering communication.</li> <li>Work with sales management and sales force to drive sales expansion with partners</li> <li>Provide account training to internal wholesalers</li> <li>Coordinate internal resources to assist in ongoing broker dealer needs including commission changes, product approvals and new agreements</li> <li>Partner with Symetra sales desk for exposure for assigned firms</li> </ul> Why work at Symetra   “If you want to invest in yourself and build a career, this is a great place to work.
