Your Role As a member of our Member Success Team, you’ll work directly with Summer’s users to help them navigate Summer’s tools and enroll in federal forgiveness and repayment programs. With training and hands-on experience, you’ll quickly become an expert in the student loan landscape and serve as the first point of contact for our users. The role will require using a computer to interact with users by chat and email, as well as video calls to engage with team members. Key Responsibilities <ul> <li>Engaging with users via email, live chat and text within our service level agreements</li> <li>Reviewing and submitting applications for federal loan programs</li> <li>Understanding Summers product offerings and how they address borrowers needs</li> <li>Proactively suggesting ideas and automations that can help scale the team</li> <li>Collaborating with the Member Success Team to achieve team and company growth goals in line with our social mission</li> </ul> This position will report to the Director of Member Success. Recommended Experience <ul> <li>At least one year of relevant work experience. Experience with start-ups, finance (including financial aid or fintech), government programs, or customer support is preferred</li> <li>Spanish language reading and writing proficiency is preferred. This posting is for a temporary, full-time, non-exempt position. Although the role is remote, we do require that applicants be based in the United States. The base salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, prorated for any partial year of employment, plus overtime as required by applicable law, and also includes a full range of benefits, as well as the potential for incentive compensation.
