Our mission is to give doctors back time by reducing the burden of navigating complex EMR systems and administrative tasks. Seamless integration with EMRs is at the heart of that mission. We are seeking a Deployment / Customer Success Engineer II who will own and drive EMR integration projects in partnership with our customers’ IT and clinical teams. This role blends technical expertise, program management, and healthcare integration knowledge to ensure successful deployments and long-term success of Suki solutions in complex healthcare environments. <h3>What will you be doing?</h3> <ul> <li>Integration Ownership: Lead EMR integration programs with healthcare organizations post-sale, ensuring smooth onboarding, deployment, and long-term support.</li> <li>Customer Engagement: Act as the technical liaison between Suki and customer IT/clinical teams, building trusted relationships and ensuring technical alignment.</li> <li>Program Management: Develop and manage integration project plans, track deliverables, and ensure milestones are met on time while managing risks and dependencies.</li> <li>Technical Troubleshooting: Support and resolve complex EMR integration issues, leveraging Mirth Connect, SQL databases, and healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, CCD, X12).</li> <li>Production Support: Proactively monitor live integrations, address performance issues, and ensure stability, scalability, and compliance.</li> <li>Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product, and customer success teams to triage issues, provide customer feedback, and influence product improvements.</li> <li>Documentation &amp; Best Practices: Create playbooks, runbooks, and technical documentation to scale integration support across customers.</li> <li>Continuous Improvement: Gather integration performance metrics, analyze trends, and recommend solutions for optimization.</li> </ul> <h3>What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?</h3> <ul> <li>Healthcare &amp; EMR Expertise: Hands-on experience integrating with EMR/EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, Athena, or similar).</li> <li>Integration Skills: Strong expertise with Mirth Connect for interface design, transformation, and troubleshooting.</li> <li>Database &amp; Data Flow Expertise: Solid SQL/database skills (MySQL, SqlServer, etc.) and ability to analyze healthcare data flows across systems.</li> <li>Healthcare Standards: Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, CCD, X12, and HIPAA compliance best practices.</li> <li>Program Management: Strong organizational skills to lead multiple integration projects simultaneously, driving customer success from kick-off through go-live.</li> <li>Collaboration: Excellent stakeholder management skills – able to interface effectively with customer IT, clinicians, internal engineers, and executives.</li> <li>Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment, with flexibility to work in on-call rotations or extended support windows if needed.</li> </ul> <h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in EMR integrations, technical program management, and/or healthcare IT support roles.</li> <li>Advanced hands-on knowledge of Mirth Connect (channel development, data transformations, deployments).</li> <li>Strong SQL/database troubleshooting experience; ability to deep-dive into data discrepancies.</li> <li>Solid understanding of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7 v2, FHIR APIs, CCDs, X12 transactions).</li> <li>Familiarity with SaaS environments, containerized services (Kubernetes, Docker), and cloud (Google Cloud Platform preferred).</li> <li>Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders (customers, vendors, internal teams) to resolve complex issues.</li> <li>Excellent communication and documentation skills – able to translate technical issues into clear business impact for executives and clinicians.</li> <li>PMP, CSM, or healthcare IT certifications (e.g., Epic Bridges, HL7 certification) a strong plus.</li> </ul> <h3>Tell me more about Suki</h3> <ul> <li>On a roll: Recognized by Fast Company, Forbes, and Google for innovation in AI and healthcare.</li> <li>Great team: Backed by leaders from Google, Apple, UCSF, and Stanford.</li> <li>Great investors: Backed by Venrock, Flare Capital, First Round Capital, March Capital, and others, with $70M in Series D funding.</li> <li>Huge market: Disrupting a $30+ billion market for dictation, transcription, and clinical data solutions.</li> <li>Great customers: Trusted by major health systems and clinics nationwide.</li> <li>Impact: Your work will directly improve clinician workflows and reduce burnout.</li> </ul> <h3>Equal Opportunity Employer</h3> Suki is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
