You will lead transformational AI data center projects, working alongside Submer’s global Design &amp; Build hub and directly shaping the delivery capability in the region. From negotiating with contractors and partners to building and mentoring a local project team, your leadership will define how Submer executes Vision 2030-aligned mega projects and high-tech, sustainable data centers of the future. What you’ll do<ul> <li>Lead strategic, large-scale AI &amp; HPC data center projects, from concept to commissioning.</li> <li>Own negotiations, contracts, and stakeholder alignment with EPCs, global OEMs, subcontractors, and customers.</li> <li>Build and manage the regional Design &amp; Build team, ensuring knowledge transfer and long-term capability in Saudi.</li> <li>Act as a trusted advisor to government, enterprise, and strategic partners in the ecosystem.</li> <li>Collaborate with Submer’s global Design &amp; Build hub to align execution standards and methodologies.</li> <li>Drive budget planning, risk management, claims, and commercial governance.</li> <li>Contribute to Submer’s thought leadership in sustainable and next-generation data centers, representing the company at key forums.</li> <li>Provide field feedback to improve Submer’s products, services, and delivery processes.</li> <li>Be prepared for extensive travel across MEA and hybrid work flexibility.</li></ul> What you’ll need<ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related).</li> <li>15+ years’ EPC / mega project management experience, preferably in mission-critical facilities (data centers, oil &amp; gas, utilities, infrastructure).</li> <li>Proven success leading multidisciplinary, multi-billion-dollar projects in Saudi Arabia or GCC.</li> <li>Strong expertise in stakeholder management, commercial negotiations, and cross-discipline interface management.</li> <li>Experience in team-building, mentoring, and establishing new delivery organizations.</li> <li>Fluency in Arabic and English; Japanese or additional languages a plus.</li> <li>PMP or equivalent certification strongly preferred.</li></ul>   What we offer<ul> <li>Competitive compensation and leadership-level benefits.</li> <li>A direct mandate to build Submer’s regional Design &amp; Build delivery capability.</li> <li>The opportunity to lead Vision 2030-scale, transformational projects in AI and data centers.</li> <li>A career path with global impact in a fast-growing, mission-driven company.</li></ul><ul> </ul> Our Inclusive Responsibility Submer is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
