This team focuses on our most critical and strategic initiatives and has a close partnership with our executive team in setting our 3 year strategy, our 1 year plan and helping us to meet our goals in-year. You will dive into a wide array of problems that drive impact for the business across operations, products, go-to-market, and analytics.</p> <h3>What you’ll do</h3> <p>In this role, you will work cross-functionally within our group and across Stripe’s technical and user-facing teams to solve problems and design workflows that benefit our users. Specifically:</p> <ul> <li>Work on cross-cutting company strategy projects and collaborate with teams to implement changes</li> <li>Partner directly with senior leaders and cross functional teams to accelerate progress, solve hard scaling initiatives, and incubate new programs</li> <li>Obsess over our top company metrics, helping to surface and drive initiatives that will move the needle for Stripe</li> <li>Build and own models for in-depth analyses to help inform our overall strategy and make the right growth decisions for Stripe</li> <li>Conduct comprehensive data analysis and develop actionable insights to inform strategic decisions and optimize operational processes across Stripe.</li> <li>Define metrics and leading / lagging indicators of business performance</li> <li>Drive analysis and research to be an integral part of yearly strategy and company goal planning</li> <li>Track projects, timelines and commitments on internal projects and customer deliverables</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Who you are</strong></h2> <p>Were looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.</p> <h3><strong>Minimum requirements</strong></h3> <ul> <li>12+ years of experience in strategy &amp; operations, data science, finance, product management, or similar roles at technology companies </li> <li>Experience working in highly cross functional settings, and in a role that spans strategy, analysis, and operations in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Critical and first principles thinking (e.g., ability to question <em>how</em> we are working rather than simply executing), and the ability to zoom out to the most important questions  </li> <li>Passion for digging deep into data and problem solving</li> <li>Experience in data analytics with demonstrated ability in navigating large data sets and/or SQL</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication with the the ability to speak to leaders across different teams, such as partnerships, product, engineering, and sales </li> <li>Demonstrated ability to thrive in influence without authority environments</li> <li>Good balance of business and technical acumen</li> <li>An ability to execute with minimal guidance, and in contexts with a high degree of ambiguity</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Preferred qualifications </strong></h3> <ul> <li>Payments ecosystem, or experience in finance or fintech is a plus.</li> <li>Experience facilitating large meetings with a strong focus on goals and outcomes </li> <li>Ability to build trust and partner with senior leaders and CXOs</li> <li>Experience driving creative solutions with and effectively informing the roadmap of cross-functional teams </li> <li>Ability to understand the implications of Stripe ships such as product features, policy changes, and marketing outreach on the user experience and resulting support experience</li> </ul>
