About the jobYou’ll likely join our Assets domain, where we’re scaling up to support a growing range of use cases—from intelligent asset search and real-time transformations to AI-powered tagging and seamless integration with our templating and distribution tools. You’ll work on the backend services that power our DAM platform at scale, ensuring fast, reliable, and intelligent asset delivery across the ecosystem.Depending on your background and team fit, you might also contribute to other key domains such as Ad Building, Core Platform Engineering, or Developer Experience—each focused on solving complex, high-impact challenges that support our scale.Key responsibilities:<ul> <li>Build and ship robust backend services with real product impact</li> <li>Ensure backend systems are scalable, performant and easy to maintain</li> <li>Collaborate across teams to integrate services and deliver end-to-end value</li> <li>Model business domains into clean, performant data structures</li> <li>Coach and mentor other engineers on best practices to help them grow</li> <li>Collaborate with other engineers and lead technical delivery on initiatives within a team or project</li> <li>Lead by example in engineering excellence, pragmatism and shared ownership.</li> <li>Ensure backend systems are scalable, performant and easy to maintain</li> </ul>Key requirements:<ul> <li>5+ years of hands-on experience delivering backend or full-stack products with TypeScript (and JavaScript)</li> <li>Strong backend development skills with Node.js </li> <li>Solid experience designing and integrating REST and/or GraphQL APIs </li> <li>Comfortable working in monorepo environments and modular architectures</li> <li>Proficient in data modeling and working with SQL/NoSQL databases</li> <li>Familiar with testing practices, performance tuning, and scalable design principles</li> <li>Experience working in SaaS or product-based environments </li> <li>You’re proactive, result-driven, and excited to work in a fast-growing tech scale-up</li> <li>Confident in making architectural decisions and communicating trade-offs</li> <li>Comfortable mentoring and supporting engineers to help them grow</li> <li>Experience leading technical delivery within a team</li> <li>You’re a strong team player who values collaboration and shared success </li> </ul> Nice to have(s):<ul> <li> Hands-on with DAM concepts like versioning, metadata, and access control</li> <li> Designed or contributed to asset pipelines for processing, optimizing, and delivering media content</li> <li>Built systems for secure, performant asset access at scale</li> </ul>
