Our Payer Strategy &amp; Operations team is responsible for the health, growth, and operational efficiency of this system.To help support and scale this system, we are hiring a data analyst to join our growing team. Your mandate is to leverage the data flowing through our clearinghouse to eliminate operational toil, enhance our product offering, improve customer outcomes, and discover payer trends.<h2>What youll do</h2><ul><li>Analyze payer performance: Track eligibility check success rates, claim rejection reasons, and payer response times to determine the “network health” of our clearinghouse connections.</li><li>Create actionable reports: Build clear, compelling reports that help Customer Operations and Payer Operations teams proactively solve payer problems before customers are impacted.</li><li>Payer research projects: Partner with Customer Operations, Sales, and Product teams to analyze payer trends and responses to support individual customer needs and product-wide enhancements.</li><li>Document patterns: Build a knowledge base of requirements and common error patterns to enable faster issue resolution and routing decisions.</li><li>Manage the roadmap: Manage a well-defined backlog of issues in Linear relating to analytics and data needs.</li></ul><h2>Who you are</h2><ul><li>You have exceptional analytical skills: You’ve made a career in working with data to improve products and overall business operations. You know the tools, best practices, and playbooks necessary to stand up a high-performing and organized analytics function at the company.</li><li>You know the tech stack: You write efficient SQL queries to analyze large datasets and can work with complex schemas. Youre an expert with data visualization tools like Tableau, QuickSight, or Power BI. Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).</li><li>You create and execute your own work: You notice patterns others miss and dig deep to understand root causes. Youve identified data issues or operational inefficiencies that led to meaningful improvements.</li><li>You do what it takes to get the job done: You are resourceful, self-motivating, self-disciplined, and don’t wait to be told what to do. You put in the hours.</li><li>You move quickly: We move quickly as an organization. This requires an ability to match our pace and not get lost by responding with urgency (both externally to payers and internally to stakeholders), communicating what you are working on, and proactively asking for help or feedback when you need it.</li><li>You are a “bottom feeder”: You thrive on the details. No task is too small in order to find success, generate revenue, and improve our costs.</li></ul><h2>Nice to have</h2><ul><li>Healthcare experience: Experience with healthcare clearinghouses, billing companies, or payer organizations</li><li>AWS data stack experience: Experience with key AWS data tools, such as Redshift, Quicksight, Athena and Glue</li></ul>The annual compensation range for this role is $180,000-$230,000. For roles with a variable component, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings (OTE) range, which means that the range is inclusive of the sales commissions or bonus target and annual base salary. This range may be inclusive of multiple experience levels at Stedi and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, location, and qualifications.
