The Sales Incentive Systems Analyst will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) and technical lead for our Varicent Sales Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) platform. This role is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, optimization, and support of our incentive pay processes within Varicent. You will partner with Compensation, Sales Operations, Finance, IT, and external consultants to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant incentive pay cycles that align with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Serve as the primary technical point of contact for all Varicent system administration, configuration, and enhancements. </li></ul><ul><li>Manage the end-to-end incentive compensation process in Varicent, including plan configuration, data imports, calculations, reporting, and troubleshooting. </li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system design and functional specifications. </li></ul><ul><li>Develop, test, and implement new compensation plans, workflows, and reports in Varicent. </li></ul><ul><li>Perform regular data validation, audits, and reconciliations to ensure calculation accuracy and compliance with plan rules. </li></ul><ul><li>Monitor system performance, manage upgrades, and coordinate with Varicent support or partners as needed. </li></ul><ul><li>Maintain system documentation, user guides, and process maps. </li></ul><ul><li>Provide training and support to internal users and resolve system-related issues in a timely manner. </li></ul><ul><li>Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline incentive pay operations. </li></ul>Required Qualifications: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, or related field. </li></ul><ul><li>Proven experience (typically 5+ years) configuring and administering Varicent or similar ICM/Sales Performance Management platforms. </li></ul><ul><li>Strong understanding of incentive compensation structures and sales operations processes. </li></ul><ul><li>Proficiency in data analysis, SQL, and managing data integrations between systems. </li></ul><ul><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. </li></ul><ul><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to business users. </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications: <ul><li>Experience working in cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment. </li></ul><ul><li>Familiarity with business intelligence tools for reporting and dashboards. </li></ul><ul><li>Experience with large sales teams, complex incentive plans, and payroll processes. </li></ul>      Not the right job for you?
