We will provide all equipment to do the necessary functionalities of the position. </li></ul>What you’ll do: We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven National Account Manager - Business Development to lead the charge in acquiring and expanding new national-level customer relationships. This role is ideal for someone who has a hunter-oriented sales approach and who thrives on identifying opportunities, opening doors, and closing deals with strategic, high-value accounts.<ul><li>Identify, target, and secure new national account opportunities aligned with SRS Building Products’ strategic growth goals.</li><li>Develop and execute a plan focused on net new revenue generation.</li><li>Build strong relationships with key decision-makers at prospective accounts, positioning SRS as a strategic partner.</li><li>Collaborate with internal sales and operations teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs.</li><li>Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and onboarding of new accounts.</li><li>Represent SRS at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to build brand awareness and generate leads.</li><li>Track pipeline activity, forecast sales, and report progress to senior leadership.</li><li>Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.</li></ul>What we look for:  <ul><li>Proven track record of prospecting and closing large, complex deals at a national level with the majority being business you developed on your own.</li><li>Strong business acumen and consultative selling skills.</li><li>Self-starter with a high sense of urgency and ownership.</li><li>Ability to travel extensively to meet with prospective clients.</li><li>Travel within the territory is required.  50-75% of the work week will be spent on the road meeting with customers, territory manager, branch managers, and vendor partners.</li><li>Have a valid drivers license, satisfactory driving record, and reliable transportation for travel in your territory.</li><li>Authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship for any length of time.</li></ul>Qualities that stir our souls (and make you stand out): <ul><li>College degree preferred but not required</li><li>5+ years of experience in the building product material distribution industry</li><li>Experience with Agility operating software package</li><li>Demonstrated experience of leading a high performing sales team is a plus.</li></ul>This role will support the National Builder vertical.      Not the right job for you?
