This role influences quality engineering practices across teams, embeds AI-powered testing capabilities into QA workflows, and leads the adoption of intelligent automation approaches that accelerate delivery. While collaborating with development, product, and operations teams, you will also evaluate and integrate off-the-shelf AI services to improve testing efficiency. What Youll Do: <ul> <li>Test Automation Development:</li> <ul> <li>Architect, design, and lead the development of automated test scripts and frameworks.</li> <li>Ensure comprehensive test coverage using both traditional automation and AI-powered test generation from product requirements and user stories.</li> <li>Adopt self-healing automation frameworks that adapt to UI and API changes automatically. Leverage off-the-shelf AI tools (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, cloud AI APIs) for data validation and scenario creation.</li> </ul> <li>Quality Assurance Strategy:</li> <ul> <li>Define and execute organization-wide AI-enhanced testing strategies, covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing.</li> <li>Leverage AI tools for risk-based test prioritization, automated defect triaging, and AI-assisted root cause analysis to accelerate resolution times. Establish data-driven QA metrics informed by AI-generated insights.</li> </ul> <li>Collaboration and Communication:</li> <ul> <li>Collaborate with development, product, and operations teams to ensure AI-driven quality enhancements are integrated early in the lifecycle.</li> <li>Communicate AI-driven quality improvements, results, and strategic priorities effectively to stakeholders.</li> </ul> </ul> <ul> <li>Evaluate and recommend emerging AI testing tools that provide clear ROI. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Test Environment Management:</li> <ul> <li>Define the roadmap for scalable, AI-assisted test environments, including synthetic data generation for realistic, privacy-safe testing scenarios.</li> <li>Integrate AI-powered anomaly detection for proactive environment health checks.</li> </ul> <li>Mentorship and Leadership:</li> <ul> <li>Mentor engineers across multiple teams, including senior engineers, on AI-assisted testing techniques, prompt engineering, and intelligent test design.</li> <li>Lead company-wide AI-focused quality initiatives. Run workshops on practical AI usage in testing. Foster a culture where AI is used as a practical accelerator rather than an over-complication.</li> </ul> </ul> Requirements: <ul> <li>Experience:</li> <ul> <li>8+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.</li> <li>Proven experience architecting automation frameworks and applying a well-rounded set of testing practices, including UI, unit, integration, and performance testing.
