If you are looking for an environment that provides creative freedom, work-life balance, and meaningful relationships, keep scrolling down.</div><h3>This position is remote in India</h3><ul><li>This position will be remote in the country of India and will work Monday-Friday during India hours. </li></ul><h3>How you will achieve success:</h3><ul><li>Design and implement high-scale backend services and APIs using Python (FastAPI) or C#, balancing short-term delivery with long-term maintainability.</li><li>Develop and optimize robust data pipelines and scraping systems using DBT, AWS Glue, and tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Beautiful Soup.</li><li>Ensure performance, observability, and reliability across distributed systems using PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka/RabbitMQ, and monitoring tools like Datadog.</li><li>Lead architectural reviews, mentor peers, and uphold engineering best practices in testing, deployment, and scalability.</li><li>Apply AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, ChatGPT) to automate boilerplate, test generation, and improve engineering velocity.</li></ul><h3>What experiences will help you in this role:</h3><ul><li>5–7 years of backend development experience, with advanced skills in Python or C# and RESTful API design.</li><li>Deep experience building distributed systems and scalable backend platforms, including database optimization and cloud-native data processing.</li><li>Proficiency with Kafka or RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL (including index tuning), and Snowflake or similar warehouse technologies.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead projects, influence architecture decisions, and mentor junior engineers.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication, especially in remote and cross-functional contexts.</li></ul><div>This is a remote position and requires candidates to have an available work-from-home setup </div><div>Desktop/Laptop system requirements: </div><div>	- 4th generation or higher, at least Intel i3 or equivalent processor; </div><div>	- at least 4GB RAM;</div><div>	- Windows 10 and above or MAC OSX operating system </div><div>	- You are required to provide your own dual monitors</div><div>A strong and stable internet connection (A DSL, cable or fiber wired internet service with 10 Mbps plan or higher for primary connection)</div><div>PC Headset</div><div>A high-definition (HD) external or integrated webcam with at least 720p resolution.</div><div><br /></div><div><b>Please be aware of scammers.</b><span> Spreetail will only contact you through Lever or the <a href="http://spreetail.com">spreetail.com</a> domain.
