Our mission on the Advertising Product & Technology team is to build a next generation advertising platform that aligns with our unique value proposition for audio and video. We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our Advertising Product & Technology organization. Our teams are charged with scaling Spotifys Free Product and our Podcast Monetization Mission. You will work directly on an array of product features, advertiser publishing tools, and insights and reporting functionalities. You will collaborate with our cross-functional teams to ideate, develop, and own complex technical solutions on our fast-paced podcast and ad services technology platforms. You will architect and develop custom backend solutions to complex business problems, leveraging Spotify’s proprietary infrastructure while working within our existing Salesforce ecosystem. We are seeking someone adept at building both inside and outside of Salesforce.
What Youll Do
- Work in the Advertising domain, where you’ll spend time learning about Advertising Sales, Marketing, and other go-to-market (GTM) functions.
- Design, develop and deliver new functionality using Spotify golden path technologies.
- Collaborate closely with other engineers, business stakeholders, engineering and product managers to understand problems and design solutions.
- Challenge yourself as an engineer by growing and developing new skills.
- Fostering strong team dynamics by holding squad members and yourself accountable to deliver high quality products and solutions.
- Continuously improve our foundational systems and services to resiliently serve our customers.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- Experience supporting Sales and Marketing functions
- 2+ years of hands-on experience working with the Salesforce platform
- Familiarity with Salesforce standard APIs and platform eventing
- Proven experience integrating Salesforce with third-party APIs and external systems
- Proficient in developing synchronous and asynchronous Apex and Triggers, with strong awareness of governor limits
- Professional experience with Salesforce sandbox environments and package-based development
- Comfortable using terminal-based tools and the Salesforce CLI
- Experience with source-controlled Salesforce development and deployment workflows
- Deep understanding of Salesforce platform limitations and constraints
- Familiar with Salesforce administration, including configuration, standard data model, security, validation rules, workflows, and flow automation
- Experience working within complex Salesforce orgs and environments
- Ability to manage multiple projects, self-QA, and follow established best practices
- Committed to writing maintainable, well-tested, and well-documented code
- Open to giving and receiving constructive feedback through code and architecture reviews
- Experienced in authoring user documentation and visualizing process flows
- Familiar with declarative CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Workflows
- Professional experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, or Angular
- You have experience working on sophisticated frontends built with JavaScript and TypeScript, and aren’t intimidated by large, legacy codebases
- Familiarity with frontend build tooling and bundlers like Webpack
- Proficient in writing unit and integration tests using Jest or similar frameworks
- Strong understanding of dependency injection principles and mocking strategies
- Familiarity with JVM-based languages and tooling such as Java, Kotlin, or Scala
- Experience with backend development outside of Salesforce, particularly in service-oriented or API-driven architectures
- Knowledge of API paradigms such as GraphQL, REST, and gRPC
- Comfort working across the full stack and collaborating closely with backend engineering teams
Where Youll Be
- We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! For this role, you can be within the Americas region as long as we have a work location.
- This team operates within the Eastern time zone for collaboration.
The United States base range for this position is $160,091- $228,702 plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. These ranges may be modified in the future.
