We love a commitment to quality and risk assessment, maintaining documentation, and curiosity of testing trends and industry standards.</div> <div> </div> <div>This is a full-time remote role and can be based anywhere globally.</div> <div> </div> <div><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></div> <div> <ul> <li>Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for the Speechify iOS app, ensuring comprehensive coverage for both manual and automated testing.</li> <li>Collaborate with the development team to identify, reproduce, and document issues and defects in the iOS app.</li> <li>Utilize and maintain automation tools and frameworks for iOS, such as Appium, to increase efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts.</li> <li>Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in iOS testing and automation.</li> <li>Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test summaries, ensuring they are clear, concise, and up-to-date.</li> <li>Communicate testing results, progress, and issues to project stakeholders, including developers, product managers, and customer support teams.</li> <li>Participate in agile development processes, attending daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives.</li> <li>Continuously identify opportunities for process and tool improvements, and work with the team to implement these enhancements.</li> </ul> </div> <div> </div> <div><strong>An ideal candidate should have</strong></div> <ul> <li>B.S. in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent experience</li> <li>3+ years of experience in QA engineering, with a focus on iOS testing</li> <li>Strong understanding of iOS app development and testing processes, including familiarity with Apples Human Interface Guidelines and the App Store submission process.</li> <li>Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, such as Bitrise, CircleCI.</li> <li>Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.</li> <li>Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues in a timely manner.</li> <li>Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.</li> <li>Experience with version control systems, such as Git.</li> </ul> <div>Nice-to-Have:</div> <ul> <li>Experience with text-to-speech technologies.</li> <li>Familiarity with accessibility testing and guidelines, such as WCAG.</li> </ul> <div><strong>Engineering at Speechify is exciting for a few reasons</strong></div> <ul> <li>We provide an opportunity to not only increase your knowledge, but ours as well. <ul> <li>We strongly believe is sustainable growth.
