Starlink brings an unprecedented opportunity to significantly impact communities, businesses, and governments worldwide. The role will focus on accelerating customer, channel, and 3rd party network vendor onboarding of Starlink’s Managerial and Network Telemetry APIs. This role is part of a high velocity team with extremely high expectations – this position requires deep technical and business acumen to support the Enterprise Sales team in meeting revenue targets. RESPONSIBILITIES: <ul> <li>Support the technical sales engagements of the broader team, answering customer questions and RFIs during their evaluation of the product</li> <li>Lead complex customer proof-of-concept efforts to integrate Starlink into existing Enterprise network environments</li> <li>Collaborate closely with Starlink’s product engineering teams to iterate and improve Starlink’s APIs, SDKs, and Dashboards</li> <li>Build and iterate on the documentation of Starlink’s APIs and onboarding collateral</li> <li>Maintain Git repository of reference code to accelerate Starlink API adoption</li> <li>Contribute to building and executing our channel strategy, assisting in the onboarding and education of new channel partners integration to Starlink APIs</li> <li>Work in partnership with our Licensing, Government Affairs, Finance, Legal, and Product Engineering teams</li> <li>Represent Starlink at conferences and events</li> </ul> BASIC REQUIREMENTS: <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline or 2+ years of professional working experience in lieu of a degree</li> <li>2+ years of professional experience in technical sales</li> <li>2+ years of professional hands-on experience building and deploying enterprise network infrastructure</li> </ul> PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: <ul> <li>Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills</li> <li>Strong analytical skills in business and technical issues</li> <li>Comfort with high degree of ambiguity and figuring out the solution with minimal support</li> <li>Highly detail oriented, diligent, and hard working with excellent customer interface skills</li> <li>Deep DevOps experience: <ul> <li>Python Programming Language</li> <li>Git and software revision control processes</li> <li>VM and Container ecosystems</li> <li>Linux networking and user-space network stack</li> <li>Authentication and Authorization (API keys, Tokens, OAuth)</li> <li>HTTP Methods and standard uses</li> <li>Common API styles (REST, GraphQL, gRPC) and data formats (JSON, XML)</li> <li>Building API requests via different methods (Postman, curl) and interpret responses</li> </ul> </li> <li>Proficiency with Computer Networking Fundamentals</li> <li>Experience working with cross-functional teams and external customers</li> </ul> ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:  <ul> <li>Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed</li> <li>Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time including to customer locations and other SpaceX locations</li> <li>This position is based in Redmond, WA and requires being onsite when not traveling with customers</li> </ul> COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:  Technical Sales Architect/Level I: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00/per year Technical Sales Architect/Level II: $105,000.00 - $150,000.00/per year Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock, stock options, or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
