You are someone who can build rapport with different audiences and create a “Sony first” mentality with dealers in the territory. You are also someone that maximizes product sales by supporting Sony dealers, distributors, and sales rep companies within the territory. Deep understanding of the CI channel and related products, product education, system design assistance, data collection, as well as others as needed.  You love training and educating both associates and customers.  You love entertainment, technology, and bringing the Sony Experience to your dealers and their customers.</div><div>The ideal candidate will live within or near The Assigned Sales Territory (East Coast).</div><div>Responsibilities:</div><div><ul><li>Developing and maintaining beneficial relationships with company principals, sales teams, and installers </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Creating and maintaining dealer and sales advocacy for the Sony brand </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Analyzing daily/weekly sales data to plan and execute actions to maintain and improve sell through </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Educating dealer personnel on Sony and how to sell/install the Sony product line effectively. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Host trainings (Virtual and In-person) for dealers and distributors </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Supporting Sales through consultative collaboration with Sony dealers in the territory </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Monitoring demo product inventory and ensuring product is placed on the selling floor. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Support National, Regional, &amp; Local industry and dealer events as a brand representative of Sony </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Conducting demonstrations and directly assisting dealers as needed by answering their questions and providing solutions </li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Gathering, summarizing, and reporting on field and channel feedback and insights </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Manage demo samples and facilitate product evaluations across the sales territory </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Work with the other Regional Managers and TSS’s to achieve group goals and deliver a consistent dealer experience across the country </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Be a point of contact for dealers for troubleshooting and directing them to correct settings or to the service team </li></ul></div><div>Minimum Requirements: </div><div><ul><li>5+ years in Custom Integration or Related Channel: Sales, Installation, Training, or Technical Support. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Ability to travel up to 60% of the time  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Ability to lift 75 lbs.</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Willingness to learn and teach others about exciting new features, technology, and how they benefit Sony dealers and customers.  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Must be able to work weekends/nights for Product launch events, Dealer events, or Sales and Training events. This may include: CES, CEDIA, etc. and may also include working outside normal business hours. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Sales focused with the ability to influence others to execute your strategies with a focus on ROI </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills needed with the ability to build strong collaborative relationships and engage with all levels of dealer and market personnel. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Strong decision-making skills with the ability to solve problems creatively, effectively, efficiently and at times individually </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Willingness to take ownership in your business and learn, plan, or implement what is required to succeed </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Must live in a location within the territory </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Strong communication skills, both written and oral. </li></ul></div><div>Preferred Requirements: </div><div><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree </li></ul></div></div><div><ul><li>Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>High Level Understanding: 2-piece Projection Systems, Control Systems, Home Cinema, Multi-Room AV systems. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Established Relationships with Key Dealers, Sales Reps, and Complimentary Vendors </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Ability to edit short videos for YouTube content is a Plus </li></ul></div>The anticipated base pay range for this position is $55,153.00 to $73,738.00. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for a sales incentive plan. The specifics of the plan vary by role and can include elements related to both individual and company performance.
