The CRM Automation Specialist will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience across all journey stages and drive business growth.Note: This is a contract position anticipated to be 12 months.Remote or Hybrid in San Diego, CA available. Tasks and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Design, implement and deploy automated email and SMS customer journeys</li><li>Monitor and optimize existing journeys to meet company goals and drive customer experience</li><li>Use scripting to provide dynamic data to communications</li><li>Collaborate closely with data activation teams to drive consistent audience segmentation strategies</li><li>QA and troubleshoot existing customer journeys to ensure they are responsive, device-friendly, trackable, and functional</li><li>Partner with ecommerce engineering team to ensure seamless transactional email customer experience</li><li>Tracking and reporting of all automated CRM journeys</li><li>Support overall operations efficiency by driving process and documentation improvements</li><li>Drive requirements for the implementation and integration of an evolving outstanding marketing automation platform</li><li>Support special projects as assigned</li></ul> Minimum Requirements:<ul><li>4-5 years of experience designing, implementing and deploying dynamic CRM automated journeys – specifically using AMPScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and JavaScript for automation, dynamic content, customizations, and integrations</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing, or related field</li><li>Expertise with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is required (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Data Extensions)</li><li>Strong understanding of customer journey mapping, audience segmentation strategy, and personalization tactics</li><li>Expertise in combining analytics and qualitative data to drive customer journey strategies and understanding of how to translate business goals into an actionable CRM plan</li><li>Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues as they happen</li><li>Proficient in pulling report data from various SFMC applications to be used for further analysis</li><li>Experience working with cross-functional teams</li></ul>Preferred Requirements<ul><li>Experience with C# and Python is a plus</li><li>Experience working with B2B and B2C context is a plus</li></ul>The anticipated hourly wage for this position is between $31.25 to $40.86.  This job posting is for a temporary role and the selected individual will be employed through a third party managed service provider.  As a temporary employee, you may be eligible to enroll in benefits, at your cost, through the managed service provider. Sony Electronics is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values employees with a broad cross-cultural perspective.
